Byron Alley — Byron's old school now. A well-known blues dancer, Byron was the poster guy for the 2007 Montreal blues exchange. He started dancing blues, WCS and Lindy Hop over a decade ago and he's won awards in those dance styles and others at major events such as CSC, ALHC, ULHS, the Boston Tea Party, Swing Niagara, and lots of other cool events. Natalia Rueda — A full-time dance teacher, Natalia's known for her skills across blues and swing styles. Last year she owned the WCS and Blues divisions at the Canadian Swing Championships, with a sweep of four 1st place wins. Natalia is Artistic Director and head coach for Swing Dynamite dance troupe, personally coaching the award-winning all-girl team, the Dynamite Girls, famous for their blues dancing and Charleston, as well as the Westie Bombers WCS team and two Lindy Hop teams! She's known for her sharp eye for detail and devotion to aesthetics, as well as her expressive musicality. A native of Colombia, Natalia grew up dancing Salsa and Merengue. As she puts it, "I never went to a party where people didn't know how to partner dance until I came to Canada!" Her energy and creativity make her an exciting dancer to watch, and an equally fun teacher to learn from! Natalia's teaching has been featured at major Canadian events such as the Quebec Swing Rendez-Vous and Montreal's Bagel and Blues weekend. Read more.
