Event Coordinator and DJ
House DJ and organizer of Ottawa's Saturday Night Swing dances, Claudia has DJed extensively at all of Ottawa's swing dance nights, including OSDS and the Boathouse. Specializing in vintage swing music as well as blues and gospel, she impresses people with her ever-increasing knowledge of Jazz and Blues music, helping to bring a better awareness of swing music to Ottawa's dancers. With a love she can't hide for vintage jazz recordings, she's becoming known for her great taste in blues, gospel and soul music from across the decades. Her tasteful selections have earned her invitations to spin in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec city, where her DJing for the Canadian Balboa Championships earned her rave reviews.

As an organizer, Claudia has become known for producing quality events, such as the wildy successful Anniversary Party for the OSDS in 2005 and 2006, selling out at 350 people! An important member of OSDS for years, she was also the woman behind C-Dex 2007, Ottawa's Canada Day exchange! She's now organized too many Swing Dynamite events to count, including Lindy Leaders, Balboa Explosion, the Westie Bomb, Blues Blast, Shag Explosion, and Swing Explosion, to name just a few!
Byron Alley
DJ "Turbo B"
Byron Alley has been spinning Swing tunes professionally since 2003. Currently house DJ for Ottawa's Saturday Night Swing soirees, he was house DJ for Montreal's best and longest-running swing dance night — the Petit Medley — from 2003-2006, where his DJ work had dancers partying until 3am every Tuesday night! He's also been featured as a regular DJ at other popular clubs in Montreal, including the Jello Bar, Le Jazz Hot and Cat's Corner, as well as local Ottawa area venues such as Saturday Night Swing, le Petit Chicago, Bar 56, the Boathouse, and the OSDS. While he particularly loves vintage jazz and soulful blues, he prides himself on versatility and building energy and flow.

Natalia Rueda
Currently house DJ for Ottawa's Saturday Night Swing soirees, Natalia draws on her life-long love of music and dancing to spin mixes of vintage-inspired songs and addictive West Coast Swing grooves to feed your feet and make your body move. Natalia's goal behind the turn tables is to please her audience. Whether your sweet spot is scratchy old vintage records, new-era Swing, or just great party music, she will deliver!
As a DJ for Lindy Hop and Balboa dancers, Natalia enjoys all the different kinds of music you can swing out to but she particularly loves vintage music from the 30's and 40's, anything from the sounds of Slim and Slam, Jimmie Lunceford, Count Basie, Fats Waller or Benny Carter will make her feet instantly move and tap. As one of Canada's top swing dancers and also a full-time swing teacher, Natalia's able to spin a wide range of musical styles that always please new and experienced dancers alike!
When Natalia DJ's West Coast Swing music you know you'll be in for a party: her specialty is energetic contemporary music contrasted with slow blues and soft modern grooves. Natalia also spins Salsa music, drawing on her experiences growing up and dancing in Colombia to spin compelling and authentic latin mixes!
