You may have seen a version of the Hustle in the movie Saturday Night Fever, or heard a song by the same name. This style is often referred to as New York Hustle.
Hustle is a dance known for its extravagant, exuberant sense of style, and for its use of multiple free spins for the lady. It began as a hybrid of styles such as mambo and swing, danced to disco music, but today it's enjoyed to contemporary music by dedicated Hustle dancers as well as many West Coast Swing and Salsa lovers.
