Swing Dynamite the hot local group exploding on Ottawa's scene—with dozens of prizes at the Canadian Swing Championships since 2007, including categories such as Cabaret and Canadian Showcase, in every swing era dance style as well as modern West Coast Swing! Swing Dynamite has established itself as one of Canada's most entertaining and professional swing dance groups.
Swing Dynamite's troupe of over 40 member include some of Canada's top swing dancers, holding well over 60 major competition awards. Performances by Swing Dynamite members for the National Arts Centre Orchestra, several Canadian Casinos, national museums such as the Canadian War Museum, and on TV for several stations including Radio-Canada, have received rave reviews.

Dance numbers and more!
The Swing Dynamite dance troupe has almost 40 members capable of performing a large variety of entertaining dance numbers. We can offer you many entertainment services:
- Watch the past come alive! We can bring alive the dances of the 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's for you. From the Charleston and Black Bottom of the 20's to the Lindy Hop and Jitterbug of the 30's and 40's, and the Jive of the 50's, we'll make the past come alive in dance!
- Acrobatic Lindy Hop and Jitterbug One of our main specialties is the acrobatic dances of the swing era. Our dancers will jump, drop and fly through the air to your amazement!
- Charleston of the 1920's Some of our dance numbers feature as many as over a dozen girls performing the Charleston of the twenties in a Cabaret style that will bring you back! Our guys will showcase the acrobatic solo dancing of the Charleston and Swing eras, and they'll all get together for a rousing partnered Charleston number!
- Freestyle! Our award-winning dancers take pride in their ability to improvise in the moment. Want us to perform to a live swing band? We'll blow you away!
- Need a band? Let us hook you up! We work regularly with Ottawa's top swing bands, and we can find a group that's perfect for your event.
- DJing for Swing, Jazz, Blues and more! We have some of the best DJs in Canada for Swing, Jazz, Blues and party music of all eras. If you have a themed event and want to keep the energy high, make sure you choose one of our DJs to keep people smiling and dancing all night!
- Fun dance lessons! You want a dance lesson for your event, but you want it to be FUN? We know how important it is to keep the pace quick and the attitude energetic and upbeat. We can show people to dance in as little as 15 minutes, with a lot of joking and smiling all around. Dance lessons are perfect for a themed party, when you want to give everyone a chance to dance!
